In the Aetherverse, there exists expys, similar to how expys function in Hoyoverse games such as Honkai Impact, Genshin and Star Rail.
Expys are "exported characters" from other works or universes. What this means is, across my various stories, there are characters who exist across multiple stories who look the same, share the same name and abide by the same core principles, but are repurposed to fit the story in question.
All this to say: if you see a similar or even the same character in multiple universes, they are the same character, but alternate versions of themselves.
